Instant Roulette from Evolution Gaming is an extremely fast live roulette variant, or not - you can simultaneously take your time with each bet, but as soon as you're ready, the round is on! It sounds almost too good to be true, and technically, it's kind of brilliant. Twelve roulette sets have been placed in Evolution's studio and they are synchronized in real time so that a new round starts as another finishes. When you are ready with your bet and click the "Play" button, you are automatically taken to the wheel that starts next.

The ball and the game rounds are controlled by magnets so there is no croupier in the room, and it almost looks like magic when the ball is sucked up to the edge of the wheel after a game round has ended... Which of course makes most people wonder if it is rigged. Technically, it is probably not a problem to design such a system, but Evolution's studios are of course checked regularly, as is required by their gaming licenses.

The wheels used are the same ones that Evolution uses in their "Automatic Roulette" variant. These play somewhere around 60-80 rounds per hour, and with twelve of them synchronized to maximize the number of rounds, we're talking about 720-960 rounds per hour. You won't be able to participate in all of them, but it raises the bar for what was previously possible in live roulette.

A computer keeps track of our bets as well as all the wheels and ensures that game rounds start at optimal intervals so that there is always an opportunity to dive in.

The interaction at the table is in our opinion what makes live casino so fun, and here it becomes rather impersonal. It can really be seen as computer-generated (RNG) roulette but with extremely good graphics.
