Infinite Blackjack

Launched in October 2018, Infinite Blackjack is a massively scalable version of live dealer blackjack that any number of players can join. Low betting limits and four optional side bets make Infinite Blackjack an attractive alternative to traditional live blackjack tables.

With Infinite Blackjack, Evolution has added a spin on the traditional blackjack game, combining the classic live dealer game with unlimited online accessibility. Essentially, where a traditional blackjack table has a limited number of seats, Infinite Blackjack allows an unlimited number of players to join the same table, whenever they want.

Infinite Blackjack at a glance

Infinite Blackjack has the following characteristics:

• Dealer stands on 17
• You can Double on any two initial cards
• You can Split if your two first cards are of equal value
• You can only Split once per hand.
• Split Aces are only dealt one additional card
• You cannot Double after you Split
• The Six Card Charlie rule applies
• Insurance becomes available if the dealer’s upcard is an Ace

This game is played with an eight-deck shoe. All players at the table are dealt the same two-card hand at the start, but from there on you can make your own individual decisions on how the game progresses. Regardless of what others do, you can choose to Hit, Stand, Double Down or even Split - if your cards allow it. Here is how a round of Infinite Blackjack would be played:

1. Betting: Players place their main bet and any side bets they may want to place.
2. Card Dealing: The dealer deals two face-up cards in the seat of the player, and for their own hand they deal 1 face-up card (upcard) and one face-down card (hole card).
3. Players Decide: Based on the hands on the table, all of the players on the table decide how to proceed at the same time. There can be an unlimited number of people on each table at a time, so this step can take a while. Players can choose between the following:
   • Hit: Take another card.
   • Stand: Keep their current hand.
   • Double: Multiply the bet amount by two and get one more final card for your hand. In infinite Blackjack, you can Double no matter what your two initial cards are - as opposed to other Blackjack games which only make Double Down available on a total of 9, 10 or 11 in your initial two-card hand.
   • Split: Split your two initial cards into two separate hands. This action only becomes available if your first two cards are a pair.
4. Dealer Plays: The dealer plays after all of the players have made their decisions. They reveal their second card, and if the total is a 16 or less, they must hit. On a hand of soft 17 or more the dealer stands.
5. Determining the Round: The winners of the round are announced and payouts are made accordingly, both for side bets and main bets.

Apart from the main bets, Evolution’s Blackjack games, including Infinite Blackjack, offer the Any Pair and 23+1 side bets, which are placed before the cards are dealt.

In Any Pair you wager that you will get some kind of pair in your hand (color, value or both), while in 23+1 you bet on potential poker-inspired combinations occurring in your first two cards and the dealer’s upcard. More information on these side bets can be found in our Blackjack Guide.

Infinite Blackjack features two additional side bets, which are not found in Evolution’s Classic Blackjack games:

• Hot 3: This side bet pays if your first two cards and the dealer’s upcard total 19, 20 or 21. Each combination has a different payout with triple sevens being the highest, as you will see in the Payouts table below.
• Bust It: This side bet wins if the dealer busts, i.e. the total value of their hand exceeds 21. The more cards the dealer busts with the higher the payout, as shown in the Payouts table.

Payouts & RTP

Infinite Blackjack follows the classic Blackjack payouts:

• Blackjack - 3:2
• Winning hand - 1:1
• Insurance - 2:1

As for side bets, all the payouts are shown in the table below:

The optimal theoretical Return to Player is different for each type of bet:

• Blackjack - 99.47%
• Any Pair - 95.90%
• 21+3 - 96.3%
• Hot 3 - 94.60%
• Bust It - 94.12%

The RTP for Blackjack is particularly high, so it promises some seriously entertaining game time.
