Dead or Alive 2 was released on April 24, 2019. Ten years after the original Dead or Alive slot was released – although the first game got a serious facelift in 2017.

The game Dead or Alive 2 is just as thrilling and fast-paced as its predecessor. Here there is more focus on special features, and the guns come loaded with three different free spin modes, sticky wild symbols, and win multipliers.

Dead or Alive 2: Feature Buy

Dead or Alive Feature Buy is a separate title, released some time after the original sequel. It is identical to the original but with the option to pay your way directly into the bonus round.

This costs 66.6 times your bet and takes you directly to the Dead or Alive 2 Free Spins, where you get to choose one of the three variants.

If you have played the first game you will certainly feel right at home in Dead or Alive 2, but some things have naturally changed or been upgraded. The first thing you'll see is the amazing graphics. Much more detailed and alive compared to the first game.

The base game is pretty similar to the original. It is driven to a large extent by wild symbols, but here there are no less than five of these (all the characters).

Just like the first version, Dead or Alive 2 is played over five reels and three rows and has nine fixed paylines – which also makes for some odd bet amounts. The slot's payback percentage (RTP) is 96.8%, and it has high volatility. The max win in Dead or Alive 2 is 100,000 times your bet.

Symbols and iconography are important elements in online slots. They establish and emphasize the theme of the game, and this is of course also the case in Dead or Alive 2.

The symbols are, in descending order of value, a sheriff's star, a revolver, a cowboy hat, a pair of cowboy boots, and a bottle with a glass next to it.

The group of lower paying symbols are the ones we know from the deck of cards. They are A, K, Q, J, and 10.

The wild symbols are stylish, and we can speculate about who they are, but we have reason to believe (from what we have seen and read) that they are Apache Kid, Della Rose, Jesse James, Belle Star, and Billy the Kid. Wilds substitute for all other symbols except for the scatters.

The scatter symbol is a bull's skull with two revolvers crossed over it. The scatter will only land on your reels during the main game, and should you happen to get two or more of them, they will also pay out on their own.

Of course, it's in the free spins rounds that the big things happen. The free spins rounds are triggered by landing three or more scatters. When that happens, you can choose between three different bonus games. These are Old Saloon, High Noon, and Train Heist, all famous scenes from western movies. No matter which of the three you choose, the game starts with 12 free spins.

Old Saloon

The bar or saloon is a familiar element in all western movies; a scene from there is an absolute must. You probably recognize this game round from the first game. If you choose Old Saloon, all the wins will be multiplied by 2. And if you are lucky enough to get a sticky wild on each of your reels, you will be rewarded with five more free spins.

High Noon

It's a great time to hold a gun show. If you choose this, you'll have to sweat a little more for your earnings, but in return, you can get paid a little more.

Should two wild symbols land on the same reel, they will turn into a double multiplier, and should you get three on the reel, they will turn into a triple multiplier. Train Heist

A train robbery is a staple of many a western movie, and it has also found a place here.This is an operation that has potentially huge rewards but is also high risk.

This game round is new from the previous version and comes with a progressive multiplier that can increase all the way up to x16. It starts at 1 and counts by adding 1 more.

Wild symbols are not sticky in this round. However, you can still win 5 extra rounds, this time if you reach x16.
